“A website was just formality.” Then we made it the sales team.
Texcore Construction runs commercial roofing across the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex. Good crews, real revenue, referrals out the door, and a marketing setup that did none of the work.

WHERE THEY STARTED
One page. Last updated in 2023, built on a website builder and left there.
No service pages. No city pages. No blog. No analytics. No CRM worth the name. No process for asking for a review. Work came in through referrals and through leads they bought off the marketplaces.
In the six months before we started, Texcore’s Google Business Profile got seen 481 times. Every search that surfaced it was somebody typing their name, or misspelling it. Nobody found them by searching for a commercial roofer.
They were visible only to people who already knew them.
“There’s never really been a reason. A website was just formality.”
Scott Creech, Texcore Construction
On what happened when a call actually came in:
“I’m almost scared to answer my phone.”
“We wanted something to vet and qualify, so we weren’t losing leads.”
WHAT WE BUILT
Something that works when nobody’s at a desk.
Eighty-four automations run this account.
We also read all 282 pages of their site, rebuilt every page title and description, and added the markup that tells Google what a commercial roofer in Fort Worth actually does. Then we cancelled two software subscriptions they’d been paying for and not using, which put $277.20 a month back in their pocket.
WHAT HAPPENED
Google Search Console. Same length window, first 61 days of working together against the most recent 61 days.
| Before | Now | |
|---|---|---|
| Times they showed up in search | 5,160 | 149,000 |
| Clicks to the site | 57 | 178 |
| Clicks from people not searching their name | 17 | 159 |
That last row is the one that matters.
Before, seven of every ten clicks were somebody typing “Texcore.” Now it’s one in ten. The rest are people searching “commercial roofers near me,” “roofing contractors fort worth,” “does home insurance cover roof leaks.” People with a problem who’d never heard of them.
THE HONEST PART
We’re not going to pretend this is finished.
Their average ranking position went down, not up, and their click rate fell. That’s what happens when you go from showing up for a handful of searches to showing up for thousands. You land on page two for a lot of things you were previously on no page for at all. Absolute traffic tripled. The averages got worse. Both are true, and an agency showing you only the first number is picking.
These are clicks and conversations, not signed contracts. We won’t claim jobs we can’t show you.
The work’s not done.
